Ways You Can Get Involved

 

We believe Hope²: Exponential Impact will be not only a significant event in the life of New Hope Community Church; we believe it will be one of the most significant events in the lives of the people who fully participate in it. Because of that, we want everyone to participate to the fullest extent possible. Though the initial phase of the campaign is over, the Hope² campaign will continue through November 2011, so it's never too late to get involved. Below we've listed some ways you can do just that.

 

Pray. -- One of the Bible verses we've repeated over and over during Hope² is Matthew 19:26. It says, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible." That's the reality we are facing...and the promise we are counting on during this campaign. Because of that, it is of great importance that we give prayer more than just passing thought or lip service. It must be the foundation for the entire Hope² journey. So we invite you to pray with us. In addition to praying for God's blessing and provision, we invite you to join us in praying the Hope² prayer everyday:

 

"Jesus, I invite you to do anything you need to do in me, so you can do everything you want to do through me."

Pick up a copy of our Hope² Journey Guide and work through it at your own pace. -- The Journey Guide was our primary tool for information during the campaign. It contains some basic information about our reasons for embarking on the Hope² journey at this time, some of our goals, a great 28 day personal devotional guide, and more. If you don't have a Journey Guide, you can pick one up from the Information Table at any worship Gathering or contact us and we'll see that you get one.

Set aside 10-15 minutes each day of the week to work through the Personal Journey Guide. -- Through Bible reading, reflection and prayer, you will dig deeper into what God is teaching you and begin to apply it to life. The Personal Journey Guide is found in the Hope² Journey Guide book. These books will be passed out at the Gathering on October 26. If you aren't able to attend the Gathering on that date and would like to request a copy of the book, email us.

Stop by the Hope²  table on the first Sunday of each month to see preliminary building plans and get other information.

Listen online to the messages from the campaign. -- Through creative teaching you will learn how to stop chasing the elusive carrot that is always just out of reach, and you will discover how to be truly rich with what you already have. Prayerfully seek God’s direction about your participation in the financial goal of Hope². --  The Commitment Guide in the Hope² Journey Guide book is designed to help you with that process. Once you have settled on the amount you believe God is leading you to give, bring your completed Commitment Card to the Gathering or mail it in the envelope provided in your Journey Guide.
